Hello, I’m Rezaul Islam Tasin

I have been working in the IT sector for over 10 years since 2014, and since 2020, I’ve been a professional digital marketer, specializing in performance marketing, working with various brands both locally and internationally.

Early Career in IT

My IT career began at a young age. After completing my JSC exam in 2014, at 15 years old, I became serious about my career and started developing skills in the IT Sector. 

Interestingly, the day after I bought my first computer, I began earning online, though it was a small amount but as a newbie it felt like a big achievement. Back then, I was living in Dhaka, and one of my friends used to do data entry/captcha entry, earning $3-$5 daily. Before purchasing my computer, I had learned these tasks from him, so I could start earning immediately after getting my computer.

My Career Before Becoming a Digital Marketer

Although I’ve been involved in the IT sector since 2014, but my professional digital marketing career started a few years later. Before that, I worked in various fields such as:

2014

Began my career with data entry/captcha entry, which I continued for the next two years.

2016

Started YouTube marketing and content creation, and by the following year, I crossed my first $1,000 monthly in earnings.

2018

Run a video creation agency, but it failed after a few months.

2019

Began learning web development and tried for government jobs, but couldn’t focus on either.

Digital Marketing Career

Although my digital marketing journey technically started in 2016 with content creation, video editing, and YouTube marketing (all part of digital marketing), But I began counting my professional marketing career from 2020, as that’s when I officially started working as a digital marketer.

2020

Joined a marketing agency as a remote digital marketer.

2020

In November, I joined IT Nut Hosting as a digital marketer, while simultaneously working at two companies for a few months. Later, I left the remote job but continued at IT Nut, where I currently serve as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

2021

Joined a Digital Marketing Agency called Nut Digital LLC as CMO and continued to work there.

2022

Took on the role of media buyer at the e-commerce company Binni Food, where I still work as a performance marketer.

While I have worked in various sectors of IT throughout my career, I realized that compared to other industries, the IT sector evolves and changes rapidly. Some skills might lose demand in the future, and due to time limitations, it’s impossible to achieve a high income in every skill. Considering that my energy for work may decrease in the future, So I decided:

I need to build a career in a skill where I can earn more money by working fewer hours.

And the best option for me was digital marketing. Digital marketing is a skill that is in demand now and will continue to grow in the future. Moreover, there are no time limitations, and the income opportunities are limitless. So, in 2020, I decided to develop myself as a professional digital marketer.

Over the past years, I have worked in various skills within digital marketing and later identified that, Sales growth is the heart of business success. As a result, I narrowed down my focus and prepared myself as a Performance Marketer, and now I primarily work in performance marketing and prefer to introduce myself as a performance marketer. The formula is clear: I do more of what brings results, especially when it comes to boosting sales.
